Leveraging Emotional Intelligence to its Peak, Effectively


Assessing Emotional Intelligence by itself is not as powerful as is when we leverage it and itspower effectively for self and others. “Others” here could be a small group or an entire ecosystem where EI as a whole, a component of EI or EI as a subset of EI could be used or addressed. Emotional Intelligence is all about how we leverage our emotions and try using this effectively but with a positive attitude and with a confidence that it will bring that difference, always. While we have a lot of EI knowledge and trainings out there but truly, it is not what is needed in the first place. What is important is to what makes EI so valuable and how could this be made effective and for whom.
While we know that EI is about empathy, social awareness, culture, and self-awareness, we at ILUMENOW believe it to be a lot more than that. Emotions are a key to drive performance and vice versa and based on that foundation, we believe if there is a way to induce this knowledge “asset” to everyone out there, we could craft and even empower to brew a unique world of self-driving and high-performing culture. It doesn’t mean that everyone would or could have the ability to reach to that level but at least, with time, we foresee to bring that change and we believe that change would be inevitable.

The power of Emotional intelligence is unique because it empowers us to influence our behaviour, leverage that power to influence others and also allows us to spread this to an overall ecosystem around us which includes how we manage ourselves, our relationships and our network while ensuring that with a successful usage, implementation and “leverage” we can be successful in what we are trying to achieve. We call it “Neural Network” of emotional learning because it allows us to virus this change to all around us very easily and effectively, empowering us to bring that result that we wanted. 

So how do we use EI at its best? We at ILUMENOW leverage the power of emotional intelligence with a unique blend of “excellence-driven” approach. We don’t believe in just doing as assessment and showing the results. We believe in creating a life cycle of assessment-feedback-training-mentoring and visioning ensuring that the wheel of excellence never stops and with the fact that excellence doesn’t come at once; it is a journey and has to undergo a lot of factors before it could bring success in actual. Take it as an example of telling someone that he is a good or a better leader versus holding his hand and showing how he could be the most “effective” one. If we could guide and empower everyone to be the best at what he/she is, we have made a significant success without actually worrying about the end result.
